Lonely lullaby
As a child sunk in oblivion with joy,
Dilated eyes as i see my toy
With hands to hold as i walk
And patience to listen as i talk
With my parents and folks
Bygone times bygone.
Endless chats and guffaw with my foe
How happy I was, you'll never know
I'm a teen now, fooled in love,
It seemes like the end of tomorrow
I was a descend of sorrow
Bygone times bygone.
With the fear of future
In education's curvature
Was led with inspiration
Continued with determination
Tasted success with ecstasy
Lived in my fantasy
Bygone times bygone
In the crazy mob i met my love
Now there is an hand to hold
His love never made me feel cold,
Footsteps in paradise
Every day was another day in paradise
Bonded with marriage
Bygone times bygone.
Blessed with angles of love,
Tears of joy my love
A wonderland with my kids
Crayons held tight in their fists
Painted my life colorful
My life so beautiful
As I watched them grow
Bygone times bygone.
Now in my sixties I'm singing my lonely lullaby
My loved one gone and with my angels far,
Dreams of forgone times
Sweet memories of gone summers
Happy moments in infinite numbers
In a pool of emotions I depart
My lonely lullaby.
